After quite a stretch of warm weather we are hoping the upcoming cold snap will give us good enough ice for our annual skating party to take place this Sunday, Feb. 9 from 1 pm to 3 pm.

Come on out to take a twirl on the ice, or just watch the skaters and sip some hot chocolate generously donated by the Dunkin’ Donuts on New Scotland Ave.

This year the Conservancy was required to obtain liability insurance for the skating party and we are welcoming donations to help cover that $450 cost. Any amount you would like to contribute is much appreciated.

Sadly, we don’t have skates to rent, so bring your own.  It’s also helpful to bring a lawn chair.  You can set that right on the ice to change into your skates.
