Clean Albany, a group formed by local community members, is launching the first Annual Clean Albany Event sponsored by the Department of General Services. This citywide event will take place on Saturday, April 18, from 9 a.m.to noon. Buckingham Pond Conservancy will be joining in the citywide effort by cleaning up the pond and surrounding area. We will be counting on you to help. The Department of General Services will be providing all the necessary equipment such as rakes, trash bags and gloves, as well as some rewards for volunteers.
