The Buckingham Pond Conservancy, Inc. (BPC) is committed to the privacy of our online and offline supporters, including members, online users, donors, event attendees and visitors. BPC operates in accordance with the following privacy policy. By providing BPC with your information online or offline, you consent to the terms of this privacy policy.

Data Collection
When You Become a Member, Make a Donation Online or Offline, or Subscribe to Our Mailing List
When you become a member, make a donation, or subscribe to our mailing list, you will be asked to provide personally identifiable and contact information necessary to process and service your request. This may include your name, postal addresses, telephone number, and e-mail address. We process online financial transactions through PayPal, whose privacy policy applies to these transactions.
When You Send BPC an E-Mail
BPC is pleased to receive e-mails from you. Should you choose to send an e-mail to [email protected] or any other BPC email address, your message and e-mail address will be forwarded to BPC Board Members who can address your message.
When You Sign Up for an Event or Volunteer Activity
When you register to be a BPC volunteer, RSVP to an event, or add your contact information to a sign up list at an event, we will request your contact information and will add that to our database of supporters unless you specifically ask us not to.
Use of Information
Internal Use
We will use your personally identifiable information in order to respond to your request, process your contribution or fulfill your online transaction. We process online financial transactions through PayPal, whose privacy policy applies to these transactions.
We may use your information to inform you of events, send you BPC newsletters, and send you updates about the park. If you no longer wish to receive emails or communications, please review Your Options section below.
From time to time, BPC will provide you with the opportunity to participate in surveys. Unless we inform you otherwise, your voluntary participation in these surveys is completely anonymous. We will use the information gathered from the surveys to guide our work and to improve the experience of visitors to BPC’s website.
BPC’s website automatically collects some anonymous “non-personally identifiable” aggregate information, which may include visitors’ browsers (e.g., Internet Explorer or Firefox), operating systems (e.g., Windows or Macintosh), Internet Service Providers, and other similar information. Opt Out of Receiving Phone Calls or Postal Mailings from BPC

Children
BPC does not knowingly collect online personal data from children under the age of 13. If you are under the age of 13, please do not submit any personal data to BPC. BPC encourages parents and legal guardians to monitor their children’s internet usage and help enforce this privacy policy by instructing children to never provide personal data to BPC without their permission. In the event BPC learns they have inadvertently gathered personal information from children under the age of 13, BPC will take reasonable measures to promptly erase such information from BPC records.
