On behalf of the Board of Directors I would like to wish everyone the best of the holiday season and thank you all for your support of the Buckingham Pond Conservancy. We have come along way over the last five years and could not have accomplished our goals without your financial and moral support.

Barton & Loguidice, the engineering firm that we retained to study the Pond, has now completed their work. We have a list of mitigation strategies that, together with all of our partners in the City of Albany, the Board of Directors can now begin to plan the funding and execution of the many projects that will target improving the water quality and restoring our Pond to its pristine state.

We will outline all details of the recommendations on our website soon after the Holidays so you can see all of the details. The real work begins now and we will need all the help we can get. So, if interested in helping or joining the board, please contact me.

We are really excited about the future of Buckingham Pond and look forward to working along with all of you to restore our jewel.
